"Population 386. Two Daily Schools: whereof one contains 12 females, and is supported by the Rector; the other 20 males and 8 females, of whom 12 are paid for by the Essex Congregational Society, and the remainder are instructed at the expense of their parents. One Sunday School, of from 14 to 25 males, is supported by voluntary contributions."
