Photographs - then and now - Kelvedon Hatch.
Many of the photographs on this site were collected by Harold Watts who lived in the village. He obtained them over many years from his fellow villagers. He had the foresight to save for prosperity many photographs which would have been discarded and destroyed.

Swan Pond. Unfortunately no swans use the pond now, but there is a family of ducks. |

Ongar Road leading up to Knightbridge Corner. Farringdon House is now by-passed by the new road. The corner is named after the family who lived in the house in the photograph. |
