List of Copyholders 1859.

In 1859, the common land which lay to the south of the windmill and Swan Pond was enclosed by agreement between the Lord of the Manor and Copyholders. This land was in the parish of Doddinghurst, but has since the 1970s has been part of the parish of Kelvedon Hatch.
